Assembling Online: Design Your Dream Job @ Zoom
Apr 1 @ 1:00 PM

About This Workshop

Very few of us graduate from school with a clear idea of what we want our careers to look like. Even when we think we know what we want, there are all sorts of obstacles to landing the right job. And worst of all, when we’ve finally gotten that job that we think will make us happy, it doesn’t. This leads to dissatisfaction and under-performance…and the process begins again.

A Gallup study found that nearly 70% of people feel disengaged by their work. In other words, they work because they have to, not because they want to. If that sounds like you, then join us for this solution-oriented workshop. We will help you to discover what matters most when it comes to finding inspiring work. We’ll then teach you a clear and compelling approach to find, and get, a job you love faster. It won’t happen all at once, of workshop, but this workshop can jumpstart your journey towards finding joy and meaning in your work.

This workshop will be hosted online due to safety considerations, please check out the “Preparation” section on the bottom of this page. Registered participants will be notified in advance of this program with information on how to log in to the workshop.

Takeaways

Find how to avoid the mistake that everyone makes when making a career transition
Learn how to identify a true “dream” job in a world full of uninspiring opportunities
Be equipped with a “playbook” for getting a job you love (including scripts and email templates to help you secure an interview and win the position)
Learn specific daily practices you can start right away to ensure the success of your career transition

Data Analytics With Tableau @ Zoom
Apr 2 @ 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

About This Workshop

Data analytics is in the midst of an evolution. In today’s digital world, the practice of decision makers relying on information to be delivered to them is no longer sufficient to keep pace. Tableau is software that puts access to data, and the insights it can unlock, directly in the hands of those who need it. The software is designed to help people see and understand data and offers a powerful yet intuitive and easy to use method of visually exploring & analyzing data for more effective decision making and strategizing.
This workshop provides an introduction to visual data discovery using Tableau software. It will explore how to use Tableau to connect to, interpret, and analyze data. You will explore sample data sets and then create a Tableau Dashboard showcasing the insights they have discovered.

Takeaways

Understand the value of visual data discovery
Understand Tableau’s software offerings
Understand Tableau terminology
Use Tableau Public to connect to and analyze data
Create and publish a Tableau Dashboard
Workshop attendees will receive a full recording of the entire session for their reference.

Preparation

An awareness of data concepts is helpful.
You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
Please download and setup Tableau Public prior to class.
This course will occur completely online using Zoom and Slack.
Course set up information will be emailed to all students signed up around 24 hours before (and again an hour before) your course launches.

Costumer Journey Mapping Workshop @ Zoom
Apr 3 @ 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

About This Class

Consumer empathy. It’s the key to successful product strategy, design, and marketing. Through it, we find unanswered questions, unmet needs, and idea catalyzing behaviors. But building a business, product, or service around a point-in-time understanding of your consumer is a strategy destined to fail. To successfully create an offering that dramatically shifts behavior, organically generates habitual engagement, and promotes a profitable viral cycle, we must first understand the consumer journey.

This introductory workshop will teach you a multidisciplinary approach to consumer journey mapping research, design, and implementation. Having successfully designed and implemented consumer journey maps for clients like Anthem Blue Cross, Sprint, Target, and Taco Bell, this team of subject matter experts will use real project expertise to equip you with the approach, tools, and knowledge to successfully employ consumer journey mapping in product design, service design, marketing, and business design.
Takeaways

Participants of this workshop will learn:
● Where and how to find the necessary data and research inputs to customer journey maps ● Proven consumer journey map design methodologies used for major brands and products
● How to implement consumer journey maps as shown by real business case studies
Workshop attendees will receive a full recording of the entire session for their reference.

Preparation

You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
This course will occur completely online using Zoom and Slack.
Course set up information will be emailed to all students signed up around 24 hours before (and again an hour before) your course launches.

Setting Up Email Sequences That Work @ Zoom
Apr 8 @ 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

About This Event

Are you still blasting your email list? Or do you have more ambitious goals, such as offering your list subscribers services or offers that are right for them? If you’re planning on reaching your list subscribers at the right time with the right offer, this event can help you get your ducks in a row.
There is no one right way to set up an email sequence: it all depends on your audience, your offer, and your goal for a particular drip. This is why this event will focus on helping you work through an email sequence you’ll use in your business.
This can be anything from a self-segmentation drip to an onboarding sequence, to a lead magnet sequence with an offer at the end. The main goal is to make sure it’s not another event you leave with a plan to implement.

Takeaways

Inspiration sources: frameworks to swoon over online
What you need to know before you start mapping out your sequence
How to determine how many steps it should take to get from email 0 to the final email
What “extra” emails you can add to make your email drip more effective
